The Meisterstück collection the World in 80 Days is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The Légrand wood -tinted lonely rollerball black evokes the second part of the trip, from Bombay to Yokohama. Wood refers to the scene where Mr. Fogg saves Princess Aouda, forced to commit Sati. In this part of the adventure, the main characters travel on the back of a majestic elephant, represented in a cartridge on the cap. The cap and the body of the writing instrument sport a engraved pattern. The clip is decorated with a red lacquered tile, while the cone is engraved with a pattern and playing card signs that represent Mr. Fogg's bet to go around the world in 80 days. On the top of the cap is the duration of the embossed trip, 80 days, including 25 from Bombay to Yokohama.
