Plume Writers Pen Edition Tribute to Robert Louis Stevenson Limited Edition 1883

Born in 1850 in Edinburgh, in Scotland, Robert Louis Stevenson aspired to two things: freedom and the possibility of immersing himself in another universe. He is the author of essays, travel accounts and legendary adventure stories populated by significant characters whose names make readers around the world shiver: Long John Silver, Captain Flint, Jekyll and Hyde. The writing instrument and the rings of the cone form a whole that evokes an extensible historical tender. Transcribing the history of the Treasure Island, this edition sports the famous Hispaniola on a body covered with precious black lacquer. Embarking for a long trip, the Hispaniola displays a British pavilion floating behind a small porthole. To recall the intrigue telling in particular a mutiny of pirates, a small button rotates the flag to reveal a pirate flag. Vertical lines recall the plates of the “Hispaniola schooner, while the hood coated with signature gold is decorated with a traditional edge box. Behind the clipped golden clip, the lines converge to form a rose from the winds. This staple imitates the shape of a mooring cod, to which the rope of the rigging of a ship is generally fixed.
