In 2022, Montblanc paid tribute to a large 20th century musician, considered by many to be one of the most influential electric guitar players in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix. Inspired by the cover of his album Electric Ladyland released in 1968, the body of this edition limited to 1942 copies is coated with a lacquer gradient surmounted by a skeleton work. The cap surface recalls the material of an amplifier used by Hendrix and is decorated with a lacquered badge. The golden golden staple is tilted like the vibrato of an electric guitar. The Montblanc emblem which adorns the top of the cap is made of precious resin. Another remarkable detail: the ring of the golden gold with yellow gold, which evokes a guitar cable from the 1960s, is engraved on the date of a famous concert by Jimi Hendrix. The pen -shaped feather in gold at the 750/1000 is decorated with a portrait of Jimi Hendrix.
