With the limited edition 4810 Montblanc Masters of Art Tribute to Vincent Van Gogh, famous Montblanc Vincent Van Gogh, one of the most popular painters of the end of the 19th century. This edition particularly emphasizes his stay in Arles with design details reflecting the Provencal wheat fields and one of his most famous paintings, "Sunflowers". The 1888 engraved on the Barillet ring - next to the signing of Vincent in bright orange - commemorates the year he settled in Arles. While the body is decorated in tones of yellow and orange reflecting the sunny landscapes of the south of France, the famous series of five paintings of sunflower inspired the interpretation in relief on the feather in solid gold rhodiated made at the Main at 750. Van Gogh has developed a more loose and freer style and has become just as competent with the brush and the palette knife - which he used for a thick and impetuous "impasto" work. Its palette knife inspired the platinum coated clip, while its quick brush stroke is immortalized in the yellow lacquer from above the cap. In addition, his penchant for the pipe, to which he refers in several of his self -portraits, is captured in a subtle detail of the clip: the upper part has the shape of a pipe stove and is filled with precious yellow resin. In tribute to Vincent's fascination for traditional Japanese prints, the general shape is inspired by a Japanese wooden knife while the cap is made of wood. The edition is crowned by an emblem Montblanc in precious yellow resin.
