Montblanc Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum

The Montblanc Star Legacy collection is inspired by the inheritance of Minerva and pocket watches produced by the Manufacture at the end of the 19th and early twentieth century. The Montblanc Star Legacy Orbis Terrarum shows in the words "Orbis Terrarum", which mean "globe", "land" and "world" in Latin. This model is animated by an automatic movement equipped with a manufacture complication. The objective of Montblanc was to offer a universal hours function with elegant aesthetics, but also easy to adjust, read and whose use would be intuitive. Once set, it looks at the 24 cities representing the different time zones as well as a day / night display for each of them. Thanks to its unique pusher, the watch is easily adjusted, even when traveling. Its dial is composed of a sapphire glass upper rotary disc with a three-dimensional rhodium map of the northern hemisphere and meridians, encircled with a ring indicating the 24 cities of the different time zones. Under the sapphire glass dial appears the day / night disc that turns in 24 hours, alternating light blue for dark blue day for the night. A 12-hour red arrow indicates the city and the current time zone of the watch owner. Housed in a 43 mm polished stainless steel housing, this model is enhanced with a satin finish on the sides.
