The Montblanc Writers Edition Tribute to Victor Hugo Limited Edition 1831 is dedicated to this literary genius, whose life and works have shaped the French nation. The edition is inspired by many details of the novel by Victor Hugo and Notre-Dame. The cap and the body are decorated with Gothic arcs and a rosette on the hat is a tribute to the rosette of Notre-Dame. The end of the clip, which has the shape of the beating of a bell, recalls the ringer Quasimodo and the bells of Notre-Dame. The cone of the limited edition 1831 is decorated with a engraved three-room frieze, which is also part of the architecture of Notre-Dame. The shape of the cone, with a single chain link at the end, recalls the posts to which Quasimodo was chained. The yellow lacquer on the bottom of the cone refers to the yellow passport of the prisoner who was given to him. On the top of the cap, an engraving of the line "Each man in his night goes towards his light" Contemplations symbolizes the idea of redemption. The top of the cap is also crowned by the Montblanc emblem in mother -of -pearl. In honor of the year of the publication of the novel by Hugo Notre-Dame de Paris (1831), the edition is limited to 1831 pieces.
