Scipio Borghese (September 1, 1577 - October 2, 1633) was an Italian cardinal, art collector and art patron. Member of the Borghese family, he was the boss of the painter Caravage and the artist Bernini. Its heritage is the creation of the art collection of the Villa Borghese in Rome, which serves as a monument to the Roman interior decoration in its most extravagant and most beautiful collections of the world's baroque sculpture.
