In 2022, Montblanc paid tribute to a large 20th century musician, considered by many to be one of the most influential electric guitar players in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix. The cap in precious broken white resin is engraved with a pattern inspired by one of the guitar straps carried by Hendrix, while the black body is decorated with an elegant pattern recalling a Wah-Wah pedal. The platform clip is tilted like the vibrato of an electric guitar. The Montblanc emblem which adorns the top of the cap is made of precious resin. Another remarkable detail: the Platiné body ring, which evokes a guitar cable from the 1960s, is engraved on the date of a famous concert by Jimi Hendrix. The feather shaped hand in gold at 585/1000 Rhodié is decorated with a portrait of Jimi Hendrix.
