The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by legendary professional watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and the exploration. Reinterpreting these exceptional models, Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and is part of the current trend of a return to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere watch is dedicated to the challenge of the seven summits, the Holy Grail of mountaineers. It is presented in a 42 mm titanium box in blue colored with frosted white details, evoking the glaciers. The watch is provided with a universal hours of manufacture of manufacture made by Montblanc watchrs in Villeret: two curved globes evolving in an opposite direction make a complete rotation in 24 hours. The globes are surmounted by a graduation for the 24 time zones and a day/night indicator in contrasting colors. The different time zones can thus be apprehended intuitively, with the additional help of Superluminova® applied to continents in order to improve visibility and performance in the dark. The timepiece is mounted on a blue sfumato veal leather bracelet with white stitching.
