The Montblanc Writers Edition edition Tribute to Arthur Conan Doyle Limited Edition is dedicated to one of the most famous writers of detective novels and creator of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. Made of precious blue-gray resin, it evokes the london sinister and nebulous atmosphere where Sherlock Holmes conducts her investigations. The cap and the body of this edition are decorated with a tartan motif in reference to the detective coat and parts of a historic map of the British capital. The JB initials are registered under the clip of PVD in the shape of a magnifying glass, in homage to Joseph Bell, the very real man who inspired the character of Sherlock Holmes. The cap of this edition is crowned with the Montblanc emblem in precious resin.
