When it was created in 1906, the "Red and Black" pen was considered a true technical feat by its simplicity of use, which dispensed with dipping the pen in an ink bottle. The Heritage Rouge et Noir collection celebrates the pioneering spirit of Montblanc.

This reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument displays a thinner and more elongated silhouette, the result of a craft perfected over the generations, a coral-colored laque body and a marble-effect hood reminiscent of the writing instrument created in the 1920s by Montblanc. The retro snake pattern clip responds to matching attributes. It is made in a special metal alloy, formed by a stamping and winding process and then aged by a unique technique of galvanization and stripping.
