Ludovico Sforza, born in 1452, is the fourth son of Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan. Crowned in turn Duke of Milan in 1494, Ludovico provides financial support to the humanist sector of the University of Milan. It is also the one who enlarges and embellishes the Renaissance style fortress Castello Sforzesco.

The design of the top of the cap and cone of the Ludovico Sforza edition limited to 888 pieces reflects the pronounced architecture of the Castello Sforzesco. The ornaments of the fresco painted by de Vinci embellish the translucent blue lacquer of this edition. The engraving of the cap of the hood recalls the "Testone", one of the silver coins of the Italian Renaissance, struck in honor of Ludovico Sforza. The 18 k solid gold attributes bring the final touch to this exceptional edition in tribute to Ludovico Sforza. The coat of arms of the Duke of Milan serve as inspiration for the engravings of the plume in solid gold 18 K.
