Each detail of the limited edition Alexander von Humboldt pays homage to the great naturalist and great cultural patron. His spirit of discovery comes to life in the smallest detail in this limited edition.
In edition 4810, the back and the corpus are in black grenadille, a luxurious hardwood from the southern hemisphere. The inlaid, the clip and the bindings are reproduced in Sterling 925 silver evoking the art of the Indians whose Humboldt culture studied during its expedition to South America.
The 18 -carat gold feather is plated platinum and carries a fine engraving of a sextant, one of the favorite instruments of Humboldt who helped his research and his surrogations around the world during his discovery trips.
