Born in 1898 in New York, Peggy Guggenheim was a collector of American art, worldly and bohemian. It was a remarkable art collection in Europe and America and settled in Venice, Italy, to live and exhibit its collection.

This Montblanc pen has a linear pattern design on the cap and the platinum plated barrel, inspired by art deco works from its collection. The hat ring has a lion's head in relief in reference to its Venetian palace, the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni. The artisanal gold feather has fingerprints of the favorite dog breed by Peggy Guggenheim.
