The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by professional watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and exploration. Reinterpreting these historical models, Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and is part of the current trend of a return to nature. The Montblanc watch 1858 Geosphere Limited Edition 1858 is dedicated to the challenge of the seven summits, the Holy Grail of mountaineers. It presents itself in a 42 mm bronze case with beige and brown details in contrast, evoking the desert. The watch is provided with a universal hours of manufacture of manufacture made by Montblanc watchrs in Villeret: two curved globes evolving in an opposite direction make a complete rotation in 24 hours. The globes are surmounted by a graduation for the 24 time zones and a day/night indicator in contrasting colors. The different time zones can thus be apprehended intuitively, using the luminescent continents which improve visibility and performance in darkness. The timepiece is mounted on a brown sfumato veal leather bracelet with beige stitching.
