La Montblanc 1858 Geosphere Chronograph 0 Oxygen Limited Edition - 290 pieces is an exceptional watch that is part of the Geosphere collection in Montblanc. This collection is a tribute to the highest mountains in the world.
The watch was introduced in 2023 as part of a "capsule" collection of four watches called "The 8000". This collection pays homage to the mountains whose summits exceed 8,000 meters. The watch was designed by Laurent Lecamp, passionate about watches and outdoor activities, especially mountain and climbing. The design and functionality of the watch are inspired by these activities.
The design of the watch is influenced by mountaineering. The dial presents a “sfumato” gray texture which evokes the glaciers. Orange lively accents on the dial recall the equipment used by climbers. The watch is also equipped with a bidirectional notching in black ceramic with cardinal points.
The watch has a light titanium case. The dial is protected by a curved sapphire glass. The bracelet is in blue sfumato veal leather with white topstitching. The bezel is made of steel with a black ceramic insert.
Dimensions
The watch has a diameter of 44 mm and a thickness of 17.1 mm1. It is waterproof up to 100 meters. The bracelet has a width of 22 mm.
