The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by legendary professional watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and the exploration. Reinterpreting these historical models, Montblanc 1858 reflects the spirit of mountain exploration and is part of the current trend of a return to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere watch is dedicated to the challenge of the seven summits, the Holy Grail of mountaineers. It is presented in a 42 mm stainless steel case with black details and contrasting beige. The watch is provided with a universal hours of manufacture of manufacture made by Montblanc watchrs in Villeret: two curved globes evolving in an opposite direction make a complete rotation in 24 hours. The globes are surmounted by a graduation for the 24 time zones and a day/night indicator in contrasting colors. The different time zones can thus be apprehended intuitively, using the luminescent continents which improve visibility and performance in darkness. The chronograph is mounted on a vintage stainless steel technical bracelet.
