Born in 1898 in New York City, Peggy Guggenheim was an American art collector, socialite and bohemian. She built up a remarkable art collection in Europe and America and moved to Venice, Italy, to live and exhibit her collection.

This Montblanc pen features a linear pattern design on the platinum-plated cap and barrel, inspired by the Art Deco works in its collection. The hat ring features an embossed lion head in reference to his Venetian palace, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni. The handcrafted gold feather features paw prints from Peggy Guggenheim's favorite dog breed.
