The respective animal sign is repeated every 12 years. The year 2019 is dedicated to the pig, synonymous with strength, confidence, prosperity and wealth. The yellow and gold tones used are in the Chinese tradition, and in the spirit of the pig, for good luck and success. An engraved pig emblem of Yuanbao (Sycee silver) and the engraved dates, which were previously under the sign of the pig, complete this exquisite writing instrument.
