When it was created in 1906, the “Rouge et Noir” fountain pen was considered to be a real technical feat due to its ease of use, which made it unnecessary to dip the nib in an ink bottle. The Heritage Rouge et Noir collection celebrates 110 of Montblanc's pioneering spirit.

This contemporary reinterpretation of the legendary writing instrument displaying a slimmer, more elongated silhouette and a body and cap in precious coral-colored resin is the result of craftsmanship perfected over generations. The retro snake pattern clip meets matching attributes. It is made from a metal alloy formed by a stamping and winding process and aged by a unique galvanizing and pickling technique.
