The Great Characters Andy Warhol Edition pays homage to one of the central figures of Pop Art. With his offbeat works, Andy Warhol has shaken the border between “high art” and “commercial art”, causing a sensation by making the ordinary extraordinary. The contrast between the precious cobalt blue resin and the thin orange rings on the cone and section is reminiscent of the color palette of his series on Campbell soup cans from 1965, which are also painstakingly reproduced on the stainless steel cap.
