The Montblanc 1858 line is inspired by legendary watches produced by Minerva in the 1920s and 1930s for the army and exploration. The watch is equipped with a complication hours of the world of manufacture made by the watchmakers Montblanc in Villeret: two bulging globes moving in the opposite direction perform a complete rotation in 24 hours. The globes are topped with a graduation for the 24 time zones and a day/night indicator with contrasting colors.
